Our Story
ZAWEZO was born from more than a dream it was born from a calling.
Raised between the cultural roots of the Dominican Republic and the raw reality of life in the United States, Alex Garcia (artistically known as ZAWEZO) felt early on that music was more than sound it was a language of the soul.
From the streets to the studio, from poetry to philosophy, ZAWEZO realized that most music entertains but very little educates or awakens.
That became the mission:
To make music that opens minds, inspires reflection, and gives voice to truths that many avoid.
